The Thieving Tree

Once there was a tree, and it loved the rush of theft. Every day, it stole from a child that came to visit. The child would gather the twigs and make them into swords and play pirates.

Time went by, and the child became less sneaky, and the tree was often disappointed. After a long time, the child came back with nothing left to offer. The child was never seen again.

Moral of the story, don't trust talking trees.
